Good location, close to the canals. The room itself was very nice, all draped with red. The housekeeper was really good and kept my room really nicely. Short walk to St Mark's Square, Doge's Palace and with a map you can walk everywhere else aswell. If you plan a few days it is good value to get a multi-day water bus ticket, that way you can get on and off wherever you like. Despite being around 5 minutes walk over to the San Marco stop, you will save a fair bit of time on the water if you walk to the Rialto stop which I think was just as quick, just go left out of the hotel and keep going straight ahead til you hit the water. I enjoyed the Shadows of Venice walking night tour, the helpful guide pointed out a lot of stuff which I would not have otherwise noticed, and that made my own touring the next few days a lot more meaningful. Good street lighting and I always felt safe walking around there, even at night. Basic breakfast in the breakfast room including breads, cakes and a cereal and bowl of fruit (most days). They make you a cup of coffee to your liking. Shops over at the Rialto bridge are pretty good for shopping, and plenty of nice places to explore. If there are any cruise ships around go early to any galleries etc you want to go, because the place gets real packed real quick.
My room was on an alley, where people were working outside all day. There was some kind of industrial machinery outside that thrummed all day and night. Earplugs helped however you could still feel the vibration in the bed. My window was adjacent to the rooftop of the place next door and the people there walked on the roof hanging up towels etc. With the sheer curtains on my bathroom window they could easily see right into my room at night, so I had to hang a bath towel up in the window to get some privacy. If you had the windows open there was a stink that came in aswell. The shower was extremely small, if you are a larger person you will probably need to open the doors to pick up the soap if you drop it, else you will smack your head on the doors. The little cafe in the corner near the hotel had the most expensive (but not the best) hot chocolate I have had anywhere in the world, so would not recommend it. The excellent housekeeping notwithstanding I don't think that I would stay there again if I went back to Venice.

Our experience here was pleasant. Really enjoyed the hotel, it is romantic and exceptionally clean, has incredibly comfortable and favorable location right in the center. The decor of the cheap room was modern and it was lovely romantic. There where a safe box, multi-channel television, and coffee/tea making equipment if needed...

On arrival at Hotel Noemi we were given the room leading onto the breakfast area, it was nicely decorated but on the small side... If we were staying for the weekend it would have been fine but we were going to be there a whole week. In the morning, when mentioned, the staff had prepared another room for us upstairs... It was a much better size than the 1st one offered. We found the staff to be very friendly, the room was always clean and breakfast was a normal continental... The location of the hotel was perfect... a stone throw from anywhere of our interest.
The size of the 1st room we were offered... Breakfast... Toast should be offered or a toaster in place, not essential but i am sure it would be a welcome addition.

It was great, but the restaurant on Friday night was EXTREMELY noisy and our room was right above it. I could not sleep and had to get up very early for my flight. Something needs to be done - that was awful and the room above mine had an occupant that opened his window and screamed profanity at the noisy drinkers in the middle of the night - feeling the same way I did about being kept awake. Guests should be kept indoors at the hotel restaurant.
See above. No bars of soap were provided.

we booked a large room (Extra Space) overlooking the famous street, but the room was small, but the window was visible to the building opposite, which is being renovated. Meager breakfast, a very small breakfast area - had to wait for a table. Air conditioning in the room is there, but he did not handle the cooling of even such a small space.

We went to the hotel and the staff was not very cordial and was argumentative. The room was not clean and was in a state of disrepair. So we did not stay at this hotel and left to search for another one in the vicinity. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please remove this hotel from your recommendations. Thanks

We found the hotel very pleasant, with nicely themed rooms. The staff were exceptional and could not have been more friendly. I can honestly say it is the best service we have had in any hotel, some with much higher star ratings. Thank you to all staff

Location, location, location!! right behind st marcs square. The gentlemen at the desk, were very friendly and helpful with recommending restaurants etc. The decore was very nice also - you can tell the owners put in the time, effort & expenses to make their motel look wonderful.
The breakfast room is very small and not really enough room to cope with the amount of guests, so simply get in early for the table. The rooms are also small, and there is no lift, just stairs, so pack light!
